Our students will be recognizing Red Ribbon Week with special spirit days and activities. Morning announcements will also deliver a message about healthy choices. The following schedule gives you an idea of what we will be doing throughout the week.
Monday the 28th- Wear RED Day and Pledge to Be Drug Free Students will wear red shirts. Students will be sign pledges in their classes to live to be drug-free. Classes will place their signed pledge and red ribbon outside their classroom door. Students will receive a red ribbon to wear all week, and a RRW pencil.
Tuesday the 29th- Give Drugs the Boot!
Students can dress in Western attire.
Wednesday the 30th- Smarties Elect to be Drug Free, and to be Career Ready! Students will receive a Smartie candy and wear career clothes.
Thursday, the 31st- Don’t Take the Hook, Read a Book - Book Character Day. Students may dress up as a character from a book and receive a sucker.
Friday the 1st- Team Up Against Drugs. Students can show their team spirit by wearing their favorite sports team shirt.
