We will learn here, we will learn there, we will learn everywhere!
When we chose this mission statement, we had no idea how perfect it would be for these times! Who knew that we would have to continue learning from our homes? Fortunately, we had already prepared our minds to make the whole world our classroom! We are still a community of learners. We are still connected through computers and phones!

We shall begin Week 17 of our Social Studies Weekly.We'll finish reading our chapter book "Lemonade War," this week and take our final paper assessment.

In math, you are learning about lines, line segments, points and rays! In science, you are examining the effect forces have on objects. You are reading a book online titled, "Geeky Fab 5:It's Not Rocket Science." After reading, you are to write short daily summaries and you shall respond to his week's writing prompt. Don't forget to log onto CLEVER. Here you will find Brainpop, your digital Math book, and many other resources. Please email or DOJO me with any questions. maria.parker@cobbk12.org
This Friday, I have asked you to take pictures of certain completed assignments. I look forward to viewing your work and sending you feedback! Please open the attached file for specific lesson details!

This week we are learning more about lines. We will be able to notice parallel, perpendicular, and intersecting lines in the world around us. Do you notice the different types of lines in the photograph above? The math assignments are all on Dojo. We are continuing to read, "Geeky Fab 5: It's Not Rocket Science" and a Force and Motion passage on DoJo. In science we shall enjoy illustrating an example of force and motion. In writing, the prompt is "I Found a Genie in a Bottle." Please open the attached lesson plan and visit DoJo for further details.
